Why Roses?
Zig-Zag takes smoking back to mother nature by utilizing one of her wildly beautiful creations. The rose petals used in the making of Zig-Zag Rose Cones are grown on a variety of family farms with a long history of growing healthy, flourishing rose buds.
Each hand-crafted rose cone begins as a naturally grown rosebud. The buds are then carefully selected for petal quality before being crafted around an ultra-thin Zig-Zag Unbleached King Size Cone to give the perfect convenient shape for packing and burning. Then packed in a protective plastic tube with a packing tool and a humidity control pouch to keep the roses fresh and aromatic when you're ready to burn.

IT'S ALL IN THE FAMILY
Roses have been bred and cultivated for thousands of years and can be broadly defined into three main groups. Wild Roses, Old Garden Roses and Modern Roses. Our rose petals come from a variety of the latter two groups (Old Garden and Modern).Old Garden Roses refer to antique species that existed before 1867. Our Damask petals are one of the most ancient rose species still commonly grown in the world today. The other three species used in our cones come from the Modern Rose Family. Hybrid Tea Roses, Floribunda Roses, and a Grandiflora (a hybrid of the first two). All three of these have unique attributes that allow for high quality smokable petals. After years of natural and selective breeding, our partnered farms have been able to perpetually grow generations of strong and luscious rose petals.
