Zeph Farmby

Zig-Zag Studio, in association with The Studio, presents Studio Sundays featuring Zeph Farmby.

Raised on Chicago’s south side, Zeph started his practice doing graffiti as a teenager in the early 1990s. During his studies at the American Academy of Art, Zeph deepened his understanding of art history and expanded his skill set by way of acrylic and oil painting, graphic design, and illustration.

With this body of work— his first autobiographical collection to date—Zeph brings it all together. He pays tribute to his inspirations, honoring his family, his hometown and the city he now calls home, Brooklyn. All the while setting an example for, and paving the way for his children.
