Zig-Zag Kutcorners: What Makes Them Special?

This may not come as a surprise, but Zig-Zag Kutcorners are named because, well, they have cut corners. But why? Below, we’ll answer this question and give you a few reasons why you should consider them for your next session, so stick with us to find out why these rolling papers are something anyone can add to their stash box for a great smoking experience.

What are Zig-Zag Kutcorners?

The actual name Zig-Zag Kutcorners comes from the two semicircular cut-outs on the leading edge of each rolling paper.
Simply put, Kutcorners are single-wide rolling papers that measure 70x38mm: perfect for solo smoking sessions or enjoying a joint with a friend. In addition, our premium rolling papers are made using natural flax plant fibers, while the sealing material on Zig-Zag Kutcorners is made from sap derived from the African acacia tree, making them both vegan and non-GMO.
Because of their design, Zig-Zag Kutcorners rolling papers are lightweight but durable while providing a smooth and slow-burning smoking experience.
In each carton, you'll get 24 booklets, and each booklet contains 32 premium Kutcorner rolling papers.

Why the Cut Corners?

The cut corners on Zig-Zag Kutcorners aren’t just for looks – they actually do a few things that make it much easier for you to roll the perfect joint or cigarette every time.

Low Light, No problem

Have you ever been camping or at a party trying to roll a joint outside at night? You’ll likely find yourself struggling to see your joint while someone points their camera flashlight in your general direction to help you see what you’re doing.

Trying to smoke a bum joint is a disappointing experience for everyone, and if you’re not careful while rolling, you could even drop some of your herb. It’s definitely a less-than-ideal experience.

Because the semicircle cut-outs are only on one side of Zig-Zag Kutcorners, they actually help you feel your way around your joint during the rolling process. After you get a hang of the direction of your joint, you can easily identify where the glue strip is even in little to no light.

Easy tucking and rolling

For those new to rolling, getting the art of the final tuck and roll down can be tricky. It's arguably the most critical part of crafting a quality joint, so getting it right is an essential part of a great smoke sesh.

With Zig-Zag Kutcorners, you can use your thumbs to grip the cut edge and roll your joint up and down to compact your herb before getting a perfect seal.

Rolling Machine Compatible

Do you prefer a less do-it-yourself approach to rolling joints? You’re in luck: you can use Kutconer rolling papers in any type of rolling machine since the cut-corner edge is easily gripped by a machine.

If you're looking to pair Kutcorners with a rolling machine, we’re partial to Zig-Zag’s 70mm rolling machine. It’s a simple and effective tool that pairs great with Zig-Zag Kutcorners.
